Sooooooo I saw this ask in my inbox no i wasn’t checking my email in bed…at all at like midnight last night….and I binged on the entire story. Um. WOW. That’s about the only word I have to describe it. It’s INTENSE and dark and so different from anything else I’ve read for Harringrove and really well written and I’m INTRIGUED. I definitely passed out right after reading it and didn’t really form any more thoughts other than “holy shit that was intense” and then zzzZZZZ. But I’m subscribed, man. I need to go back and reread [because let’s be serious, my retention drops off at about 10pm] and comment. It deserves it.

Imagine Alpha!Billy and Omega!Steve living in the same apartment building. One hot summer day, Billy happens to be in his rut the same time Steve is in heat. Both go to turn on the AC, only for their whole building’s ventilation system to shut down, allowing all the scents to leak through the air vents. So Billy, who lives one floor over Steve, catches a whiff of the sweet scent of the cute Omega who lives one floor down, same for Steve catching Billy’s scent. What happens next is up to you.

Billy is a dominant, powerful alpha with a slew of omegas dying to win his affection. He loves it, lives for it, except when he’s in rut. Steve is an omega and fights it every damn day. But when his body goes into heat, needs to breed, he can’t do anything to stop it. Billy is in rut and Steve is in heat when a freak heatwave knocks out the air conditioning in their shared apartment complex. Open windows and rampant hormones? What could go wrong?
