Wade and Peter have just gotten together after a slow burn. They’re about to go home and get nasty when they run across Doctor Strange fighting some giant tentacle monster. They don’t bother listening to him when he tells them to scram, and end up killing the thing. Unfortunately, when it dies, it sets off a blast of energy and they are shunted off into another dimension, where they are trapped.
Then they meet another monster, very similar to the one they (Wade) killed, and are presented with a way to get home that is… unusual. Wade is intrigued. Peter isn’t.
