God, he sounded desperate. The boy bit his lip, soft and full, and that was it. The final crack that sent the man tumbling forward into oblivion. The boy was an oil slick spilling across his mind, blacking out all sense and sending Jacob blindly stumbling towards the source of his madness. Jacob stood, leaning forward abruptly, grasping the sharp line of Dolore’s jaw in his hands and pulling him close, their noses barely brushing and the boy shivering as he leaned into the touch. “Do not tempt me, Dolore.” He growled, voice hoarse and rough against the soft lips that parted willingly against the words.
