This is quite a big attack on a lot of tumblr accounts that we have all loved and cherished. Not only is this going to cut down a lot of people from being able to expand their blogs, but intensely cut down a lot of freedom that we have on tumblr. God dam-it we should have the fuckin right to reblog and promote whatever we fucking please because without us tumblr’s there would be no fucking tumblr. For starters fuck yahoo and their bullshit decisions. To all those on tumblr, if you want tumblr to continue being the way it is, You NEED to read this you NEED to get angry and you NEED to let them hear your voice. No other way would create a change.

A petition has been started and needs around 8k more signatures in case you feel like voicing your opinion more than just talking on here.

I’ve not been flagged as an nsfw/adult blog since this is my personal and i’d rather it not be covered in inappropriate things since i know a lot of people aren’t down with that (and also since i have a blog specialized for this) but since i have a good amount of eyes that can see this post following me i figured i’d share with the petition. seriously though guys, this is a really dumb thing that’s happened and i really hate that they’re blocking the majority unwillingly that’s actually interested in seeing this stuff rather than making it an option for the minority of people to just not have to see it. not only does it block off information from those that have been flagged improperly (or those that TEACH YOU ABOUT HOW TO DO THE SEX SAFELY WITH TIPS AND SIMPLE GUIDES) but it makes it even harder to find artists and writers who don’t even know they’ve been flagged.

Please spread this like a wildfire guys, yahoo’s stubborn as all else, but the least we can do is to inform everyone!
