We all have moments in our lives that our brain processes as absolute disasters. Sometimes, it helps to take a step back. Anxiety and Logic go toe-to-toe to mull over some recent experiences I had to determine if I they truly WERE as horrible as I thought they were.

God this fucking parallel conversation (with later on in TRF).

This scene is one of the big reasons I appreciate fanfics where John is actually perceptive and intelligent lol. I know it’s Sholto foreshadowing too, but like… John is a sharp guy. 

I’ve also wondered if John is saying the bachelor thing aloud to see if him and Sherlock can have another conversation about it, except instead Sherlock is like, “I’m a sociopath dumbfuck,” and John’s like “I know bb :-/ try to be less of the dumbfuck part”
